More Christmas lights from Joyce Grogan, photographer, who was hangin’ out in Toledo where obviously tasteful (and fun) lighting is the word…
Margaret Boone stole a peek at Kelli and Marty Thompson’s house in Agate Beach, next to Saxon shells. Tastefully done. If you (dear reader) see something pretty glowing in the night in your neighborhood that you would like to share with the community, snap it and e-mail it to: Dave@NewsLincolnCounty.com
Joyce Grogan caught these sea lions soaking in some rays on the Central Oregon Coast. It’s one of those photos that we ought to carry in our back pockets that we can whip out when we feel stressed…
Christmas lights on the roofs so Rudolph can see them through the fog….
Thanks to Mandi Smith for this snapshot from Toledo!
Lincoln County photographer Steve Power set out on a drive up the coast, winding up in Olympia. He captured the quiet, serene mood of the water and the simple elegance of a restored little tug boat called “Sand Man.” Almost has an Ansel Adams look to it, with pure white and pure black in the photo but with the unmistakable presence of color. Beautifully done.
And just as a note to our readers, I’ve added a new category to the list of categories you can search by. We have received so many world class photos lately that they should be searchable by typing in that category in the story search bar. To all those who have contributed to beautifully showing us where we work and live, thank you, keep it coming! And to other snapshooters who have yet to contribute, stick your toe in the water. Sharing’s a good thing!
