A Gift to Gardeners
Give the gift of gardening-the perfect holiday gift to a special someone. The Master Gardener program is the perfect solution to our long coastal winters.
Whether you are a budding gardener or experienced, you are invited to become a Oregon State University Lincoln County Extension Master Gardener. Horticulture instructors from Oregon State University, local county specialists and experienced gardening experts will share their insights on topics such as: Natives, Invasives, Botany, Seed Starting and Propagation, Soils and Composting, Waterwise Gardening, Organic Gardening, Conifer and Plant ID, Plant Diseases and Diagnostics to name just a few.
Classes are held on Tuesdays, 9am-4pm at Oregon Coast Community College in South Beach beginning January 7th, 2014. Registration is underway and class size is limited. REGISTER EARLY! Deadline is December 10th.
Orientation (required) is December 12th 2:00-4:00pm. Cost $195 has been kept to pre-2007 levels; limited partial scholarships are available.
