Holiday Season preparations steaming ahead at Lincoln City Cultural Center

The 7th Annual 11th Hour SANTA HOLIDAY FAIR and Tree Lighting Party will take place on Friday, November 29, from 12 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, November 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the beautiful Lincoln City Cultural Center at 540 NE Hwy 101 in Lincoln City, Oregon. This multifaceted, family-friendly event features an Artisan Fair with 30 exhibitors of handcrafts, art & gourmet confections just right for holiday gifting. Free samples of the goodies, craft demonstrations, lunch and free fun activities for kids add to the fun. The Tree Lighting Party on Friday evening starts at 5 p.m. with free refreshments, holiday music, a Cake Walk for kids and free visits with Santa. Admission to this family-friendly event is free.

ARTISAN FAIR BRINGS TALENT and VARIETY
The Thanksgiving Weekend signals the beginning of the holiday season and shopping is a big part of the fun. On both days, The 11th Hour Santa HOLIDAY FAIR offers the public a rare opportunity to meet the artisans who are creating gifts that will be original and long treasured. The 30 exhibitors in this unique Artisan Fair offer a huge variety of crafts and art. Visitors to the event will find an amazing selection of jewelry including wire-wrapped and strung beads; soap; hand loomed rugs; hand spun yarn; original art coloring books, calendars and Joy Sphere Treasure Balls; scroll saw puzzles and toys; watercolor art; succulent plants; hand made glass beads; oils, teas & hand-blended spices; knitting patterns and goods; modern metal art and sculpture using found objects; recycled oxygen tanks turned into bells; cards and prints; beaded ornaments; ceramics and pottery; photographic art; vegan dog treats; handbags and aprons; crocheted rugs; hand painted glasses; crocheted and knitted hats and scarves; hazelnut products; nut brittles and caramel corn; toffee and more.

FUN ATTRACTIONS AT THE FAIR BOTH DAYS
This multifaceted, family-friendly event offers many inviting aspects. During this two day event The Artisan Fair will be open all hours featuring craft demonstrations and free tastings of the gourmet confections. Hot lunch will be available for sale from 12-2 on both days. There will be a Free Make and Take Ornaments and Crafts for Kids Booth open both days. Santa will be visiting on Friday, November 29, from 5-7 p.m. and on Saturday, November 30, from 12-3 p.m.

TREE LIGHTING PARTY STARTS THE SEASON OFF BRIGHT
The Tree Lighting Party on Friday from 5-7 p.m. is an exciting way to open the season. Starting at 5 p.m. there will be free hot drinks and cookies available, the Sweet Adelines will be serenading the crowd with Christmas carols and the Kids Make and Take Crafts & Ornament Booth will be open downstairs. At 5:15 the tree will be illuminated. At 5:30 p.m. Santa will make his grand entrance on a fire truck and will visit with kids until 7 p.m. and at 6 p.m. the Cake Walk for kids will start. The Artisan Fair continues until 7 p.m. as well.
A huge Thank You to Noble Creek Tree Farm for donating the Christmas tree, to Pacific Power for the tree installation, to Kenny’s IGA for the refreshments, to the Sweet Adelines for the great music and to the local bakeries who provided the Cake Walk cakes.
