Oregon is making it easier for those who don’t want to give up their current medical insurance to keep that insurance through all of next year. Some companies and insurance providers are already on board with the idea. Others are still taking a hard look at it, since, by definition, those insurance policies don’t measure up to what Obamacare mandates – no lifetime limits, mental health care, preventative care, pre-existing conditions don’t matter, etc. By next year Obamacare and other program applications should be easily processed on line. At least that’s what the White House is claiming.
In reality, a very small fraction of the population is affected despite the doomsday scenarios heard on conservative talk radio and on certain tv news channels.
