Two cars collide. One down an embankment. Emergency responders enroute. Injuries are said to be probable.
Two elderly occupants of the sedan were extracted and loaded aboard ambulance. Neither seemed to be badly injured. Driver of the pickup that stayed on the road didn’t appear injured.
It appeared that the two vehicles were left side-to-left side partial head-on with the sedan spinning and going over an embankment. After stabilizing the sedan with a steel line to a fire truck on the pavement, they were able to get the couple out and onto gurneys.
Traffic backed up in both directions for some distance. Traffic on Highway 20 will remain closed until tow truck can retrieve the sedan.
