The Siletz Tribal Restoration Pow-Wow takes place on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City. The public is cordially invited to attend and join the celebration of the anniversary of the official restoration of the tribe’s federal status which also made the tribes a sovereign nation. The Restoration Act was signed by President Jimmy Carter on November 18, 1977.

2nd Photo: Johonaaii drum – Lead singer Chet Clark of Johonaaii and other drummers, singers, family and friends sing an honor song as Siletz Tribal members gather around them. This song written by Clark originally was dedicated to the people of the Siletz Tribe in 2007 at the 30th Restoration Pow-Wow for overcoming the years of termination.
