Fall is the perfect time to celebrate and the Celtic New Year is just around the corner. In time honored tradition, the Celtic Heritage Alliance will host its third annual “Harvest by the Sea” concert and ceili dance.
This year we have a special treat. Maldon Meehan, renowned Sean “nos” dance instructor, is back to call and provide instruction for our ceili. She will bring along a fiddler and accordion player to form the group “Brog Crua” who played in Newport earlier this year.
Those who have attended our ceilis in the past have a great time and can continue their lessons, or if you would simply enjoy listening to traditional Irish tunes, you can sit, listen and enjoy. It will be a mixture of musical performances and ceili dancing for everyone!
If you’ve never been to a ceili dance, this is a great opportunity to join the fun. No experience is necessary and suits any age. Maldon will guide everyone through the steps.
Fresh baked goods and beverages will be available for purchase.
