Sheriff’s Office Community Meeting

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Community Meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd. This is the 15th community meeting hosted by Sheriff Dennis Dotson and his leadership team since 2006. This community meeting will be held October 22 at the Siletz City Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sheriff Dotson notes, “That while the meeting is being held in Siletz, citizens from around the county are welcome to attend.”
Citizens will meet and hear from the Sheriff and all of his Commanders. Topics to be discussed include:
Radio communications and 911 services
Deputy Sheriff duties and staffing
Concealed Handgun Licenses (CHL)
Fingerprinting, Sheriff’s Sales (foreclosures)
Inmate populations and programming
Questions that will be asked of attendees include:
How do you obtain information about the Sheriff’s Office?
How satisfied are you with the Sheriff’s Office?
Do you think the Sheriff’s Office has enough presence in your area?
What do you believe the Sheriff’s Office should be doing?
What services should be provided?
How can we keep you informed of what the Sheriff’s Office is doing?
“We need our citizen’s input and assistance if we are to provide effective services”, stated Sheriff Dotson.
