Rep. Gomberg Announces Hiring of Kyle Linhares as Chief of Staff
State Representative David Gomberg announced today that effective October 1, Kyle Linhares has joined his office as Chief of Staff.
Kyle is a native Oregonian who previously served as Legislative Assistant to State Rep. Caddy McKeown (D-Coos Bay). Previously he worked on federal education policy for the National Center on Time & Learning. He attended American University in Washington, D.C. where he earned a BS in economics and a BA in political communication.
“We are fortunate to add Kyle’s coastal knowledge, positive energy, and policy expertise to our team,” said Gomberg. “You will soon see him at government meetings and local community events.”
Kyle and his wife Kathleen are excited to move to the Central Coast in the near future.
With the conclusion of the 2013 Legislative Session outgoing Chief of Staff Angie Allbee is leaving to pursue opportunities in nonprofit management.
“Angie has been a great asset to our office and to the district,” said Gomberg. “I thank her for two years of dedicated service to my campaign and my office and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. She will be missed.”
