Fall Music Fundraiser & Charity Auction to benefit Neighbors for Kids
Come get your toes tapping and hands clapping to the refreshing and timeless music of the Western cowboy. Neighbors for Kids will host The Hanson Family Singers at its first annual Fall Music Round-Up & Charity Auction on Saturday, October 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Eden Hall, 6675 Gleneden Beach Loop in Gleneden Beach. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
The Hanson Family Singers, a dynamic and talented family from Veneta, Oregon, is comprised of Wayne and Leslie Hanson and their three youngest of seven children, Lisa, Theresa and Daniel. The beautiful harmonies and vocal arrangements of the Hanson Family have gained them much recognition in the music world, as well as the honor of winning, among other awards, the 2013 Kamloops Cowboy Festival “Rising Star Award.”
The group has performed for many audiences, including the Pendleton Round-Up, Medora North Dakota, Vinton Cowboy Poetry Show, Columbia Gorge Cowboy Gathering, Oregon Trail Music Fest, Emerald Valley Opry, Coast Fork Cowboy Festival, Paramount Theater in Seattle, the New York City Center Theater, WMA Festivals in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and many places in between.
The Hanson Family Singers will present a fun and lively performance of Western favorites and great instrumentation. If you can’t resist the fiddle and delight in hearing old-fashioned yodeling, don’t miss this opportunity to help Lincoln County youth and enjoy a great time!
The newly-formed (and as-yet unnamed) kids’ band from NFK’s Kids Zone music program will open the evening. Please join us in support of our youth!
