The Public Works Department would like to alert Toledo residents in the north-Toledo area that beginning Wednesday morning October 9th at approximately 9:00 am, contractors will perform electrical upgrades to the Wagon Road Water Booster Pump Station.
This work will cause a disruption to water service in the north portion of Toledo. Affected areas include portions of NE Wagon Road, NW Skyline Drive, NE Skyline Drive, NW Sunset Drive, Sequoia Drive, Magnolia Drive, and NE Arcadia Drive.
The temporary water outage is expected to last until 3:00 pm. For a short time after the upgrade, residents could experience low pressure and turbidity in the water system. If there is any coloration to your water, just let it run until it clears up. If you experience any problems beyond this time frame, please contact the Public Works Department to report the problem.
This project is part of the City’s Water Master Plan improvement project. The Wagon Road Pump Station facility will undergo improvements, including upgrades to the controls and generator, electrical work, and replacing the aging pump system.
For more information concerning this project, please contact the City of Toledo Public Works Department at (541) 336-2247.
Toledo residents are encouraged to sign up for Lincoln County Emergency Management’s Citizen Alert System called Everbridge, available at www.lincolncountysheriff.net or (541) 265-4199. Updates of system-wide water system outages will also be announced through this citizen alert system.
