NOAA says showers should reach the coast by around 1pm this afternoon.
A cold front will reach the Oregon coast Friday morning, then move inland. This front will produce a wet evening commute in the Portland area. An unstable air mass over the area Saturday with bring rain showers, and chance of thunderstorms and small hail. Cascade snow level will drop to 6000 to 6500 feet. Sunday will have a stronger cold front. This will bring coastal wind gusts to 55 MPH, valley wind gusts to 35 MPH and widespread rain by evening. Rain accumulation Sunday will be around 1/2 inch in the valleys and over an inch on the coast.
