Did you know that the Depoe Bay City Council is considering not giving the Chamber of Commerce the funds to advertise Depoe Bay as they have for so many years?
This contract has enabled the Chamber of Commerce to bring tourists to Depoe Bay which benefits everyone in Depoe Bay, businesses and residents alike. The advertising dollars are earmarked just for advertising, and the Chamber of Commerce spends thousands of dollars doing that every year, In fact, the Chamber of Commerce spends a lot more than the contract funds on advertising.
There will be petitions at the Salmon Bake, Chamber office, and other businesses in town, Please sign the petition telling the Depoe Bay City Council that this contract needs to continue so that the businesses in Depoe Bay can continue to grow!
This item will be in front of the City council on Tuesday, October 1st. We need you there to show support for your Chamber of Commerce.
