Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley says college not only costs too much, it weighes college graduates down with crushing debt that dominates their early to mid-adulthood. It’s just too much to pay for a good education – an education, however, that is absolutely required in order for the next generation of Americans to compete in the ever-widening global economy.
