Lincoln City’s Nelscott fix for 101 is now nearly fully funded – construction starting fall/winter – to be done in two years.
An ODOT representative made the Lincoln City City Council very happy Monday evening. The ODOT rep said that the Nelscott 101 highway widening, storm drain installations and other improvements are finallyfully funded except for the multi-use path – but that he said can come later. He said utility lines will have to be moved farther away from the pavement to allow an additional turn lane in the middle of what will become a three lane throughway. He said the the project is targeted to be largely done within the next two and a half years.
