The Oregon Chapter of the American Cetacean Society is having our FREE, ECO-FRIENDLY Summer Whale Watch Weekend on July 27 & 28 from 9 AM – 1 PM at Rocky Creek State Park in Depoe Bay. You’ll experience shore-based whale watching and wildlife viewing with education and information on the diversity of Oregon’s whales, dolphins and porpoises.

Members of the ACS Oregon Chapter will help you whale watch and provide information on whales, dolphins, porpoises and their habitats, conservation and the American Cetacean Society. Summer is an excellent time for whale watching along the Oregon Coast as the Gray Whales are in closer to shore feeding and we have better viewing conditions.

The event is free and open to the public. Contact Joy Primrose, ACS Oregon Chapter President at: marine_lover4ever@yahoo.com or (541) 517-8754 for more information.

The American Cetacean Society protects whales, dolphins, porpoises, and their habitats. The non-profit organization was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in San Pedro, CA. Information on the ACS can be found on the website: www.acsonline.org

You can also find us on Facebook now at American Cetacean Society Oregon Chapter.
