It was a perfectly beautiful Oregon Coast summer day for a perfectly silly Oregon Coast “La Dee Dah” parade in Yachats. At high noon the fun and frivolity commenced its annual
Fourth of July procession from 4th street all the way down Ocean View Drive with the trademark Yachats Bay breakers in the background. Costumes of all manner and “fashion” were proudly strutted and sashayed before adoring crowds of Native Yachatians and enthusiastic visitors. Musical selections and entry themes were, shall we say, “mirthfully electic,” as always.
