The Toledo Swimming Pool will be open for Holiday hours on July 4th. There will be no classes July 4th. Lap Swim: 11:15am to 12:45pm.
Rec Swim: 1:00p-3:00p Admission is $3.00 per person for all ages 3 and up (Two years and under are free). Children under 48” tall must have a parent in the water with them or be able to show swimming competency by swimming 70 feet without assistance and with showing breath control and appropriate body position.
The pool is also pleased to announce the addition of two new water fitness classes geared towards adults. These classes do not require strong swimming skills as the exercise is done with resistance equipment in the water. These classes are a great way to exercise in a low impact way.
The Hydrotone class takes place Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:15pm to 6:00pm. This class is a medium paced class geared towards adults who would like to improve their cardiac health, tone up and lose weight.
The Late Night Power Hour Class takes place Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:40p-9:25p. This is a fast paced class for those who have achieved a moderate to high level of fitness.
The pool also still has openings for morning swimming lessons, starting Monday July 15th through July 25th. This session will run Monday through Thursday with classes taking place between 9am and 11am depending on the student’s level. The cost is $46.00 with residents of Toledo getting a $6.00 discount making the cost $40.00 for the (8)-30 Minute Classes. These classes are for children ages 3 years and up.
