Lincoln County District Attorney Rob Bovett, who knows the back offices of the Oregon Legislature as well as his own in Newport, and who exercises similar influence in both, has put forth recommendations to bar those with drug convictions in other states from being employed by medical marijuana dispensaries and growing operations in Oregon.

And Mr. Bovett informed us that his suggestions have been included in the bill which would ban anyone having been convicted of a felony drug violation anywhere in the country from either owning or being employed by a medical marijuana dispensary or a medical growing operation.
