PACIFIC COAST WIND ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM AT BEACHCOMBER DAYS
The Central Coast’s regional community concert band, The Pacific Coast Wind Ensemble, will be performing live at Waldport’s Beachcomber Days June 15 at 2 PM in front of the Senior Center, Waldport. The band, noted for taking its music seriously but not itself, will play familiar marches, show tunes and amusing novelty numbers to add to the fun and excitement of this annual unique Waldport event.
The Pacific Coast Wind Ensemble is composed of Lane and Lincoln county volunteer musicians, ranging in skill from beginners to professionals, and in age from high school to geezers all united in their love for concert band repertoire. Under the direction of Jim Cameron, the band performs throughout the year, giving benefit concerts for organizations such as the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Food Share.
The Ensemble is always looking for new members. If you would like to join the band, please contact Eric Bigler, band manager, either at an event or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
