Northwest Toledo still on boil-water requirement – Skyline, Sequoia, Magnolia, Sunset, Deer, Arcadia and14th, 12th and 11th Place
This is an update in reference to the precautionary notice issued yesterday following a break in a water line. The area affected is shown on a map that can be viewed at www.cityoftoledo.org. The map link is “WATER PRESSURE LOSS MAP OF AFFECTED AREA IN GREEN.”
The streets involved include higher elevation areas in the northwest part of Toledo. This includes parts of Skyline, Sequoia, Magnolia, Sunset Dr; Deer Dr, 14th Pl. NW, 12th Pl. NW, 11th Pl. NW and Arcadia Drive. Residents in that area are advised to boil water or use bottled water as described in the precautionary notice. If you are concerned that your house may have experienced a lack of pressure in your water lines, boil your water. The break has been repaired and the pipe has been flushed. Water samples have been collected and are being analyzed. Results are expected by approximately noon tomorrow, 5/30/2013. The boil water advisory will be lifted as soon as test results confirm the safety of the water supply.
