For some local governments it’s mere drops in the bucket. But rural Oregon “O&C” counties say they’ll take it.
The U.S. Department of the Interior has caved under pressure from Oregon Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley who jointly placed a rider on the huge annual Farm Bill that orders Interior to turn $2 Million over the the rural Oregon counties that were counting on getting the money before the Congressional “sequester” kicked in.
