Interstate 5 is shut down just north of Mount Vernon, WA. Bridge over Skagit River, 60 miles north of Seattle, falls into the water.
Interstate 5 has an empty place in it due to a freeway bridge collapse at Mount Vernon, Washington, about sixty miles north of Seattle. A number of vehicles went down with the collapsing northern-most span. It appears everyone was rescued but there were injuries.
