What: Day of Caring is United Way’s signature event that promotes volunteerism in the local community. Teams of volunteers—local businesses, students, individuals—provide much needed labor to complete projects for local non-profit agencies that could not otherwise get it done.
Where: Flowerree Community Center, Toledo
When: Sat, June 29 — 8am-2pm
What: We’re looking for 40 volunteers to give the Flowerree Community Center a little TLC. Bring your favorite work gloves and gear and
join us to: organize the gardening shed, pull shrubs, prune, spread bark, plant flowers … there might even be a little painting involved.
Lunch will be provided.
