From Becky Miller, Toledo Artist
All artists who live within the Toledo Fire Protection District are invited to participate in Toledo’s 20th Annual Labor Day Weekend Art Walk. The show gives coastal visitors and locals an opportunity to take a self-guided tour through Toledo’s many galleries and studios, meet the artists, and enjoy the wealth of diverse and high quality artwork being created in this area. The deadline for submitting an application and entry fee is June 1. No late entries will be accepted this year.
Entry fees are $125 for an individual show and $250 for a group show. All fine art mediums are welcome. The event will be widely advertised, including large color ads in the News-Times and Oregon Coast Today, as well as radio and other advertising. Entry fees and grants, including a very generous grant from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund, are used solely to pay for event advertising and publicity costs. The event is organized by volunteers.
