Although some claim it’s not the state’s role to be a nanny to teenagers, others say if parents won’t protect their kids, there’s no one else who can do the job. Especially when some of the medical bills that often follow are put on the taxpayers.
A bill outlawing tanning bed use by teens 17 and under has passed both houses of the State Legislature and is enroute to the Governor’s desk for signing.
