Oregon State Police (OSP) and ODOT remain on scene of Monday morning’s non-injury rollover crash involving a loaded log truck along Highway 18 at Red Prairie Road near Sheridan. Personnel are on scene removing the spilled logs and a tow was enroute for the involved vehicle.
On April 8, 2013 at approximately 11:38 a.m., a truck pulling a pole trailer loaded with logs driven by a 56-year old male was eastbound on Highway 18 near milepost 32 when the trailer’s right side wheels traveled onto the shoulder. The truck’s driver lost control trying to bring the trailer back onto the pavement. The truck and trailer traveled across the westbound lane and rolled onto its side as the logs spilled off the trailer.
The truck’s driver was not injured. He was driving for Siletz Trucking.
