The “drone” industry is today producing flying surveillance devices that can hover at high altitudes while snapping high resolution photos and video over wide swaths of land and buildings below. And with super-zoom high resolution cameras, law enforcement can quietly and very discreetly look through just about any window they want.
The Oregon Legislature has begun hearings on what legal controls and investigative protocols should guide the use of these highly evolved high-flying high-tech recording devices.
