Washington State authorities are waiting to see what charges may be filed against Michael Chad Boysen after he held Oregon State Police SWATofficers at bay for over ten hours on Tuesday outside a Lincoln City Motel. Officers eventually overpowered him at around 7pm Tuesday night, finding that he’d deeply cut himself with what was believed to be glass. He was rushed to a trauma unit in Portland where he’s reported to be recovering from his wounds.
In the meantime the King County (Seattle area) District Attorney is quoted in the Seattle Times that he’s been assured by Oregon authorities that there will be no charges filed against Boysen in Oregon in order to have him returned quickly to Washington where he is likely to face two counts of homicide for the deaths of his grandparents.
