April OCCA Exhibition Coffee and Call for New Volunteers-March 14
The Exhibition Coffee in March will be on April 11th at 11am. The program will be about paper arts and we hope to have some of the local artists join us to talk about their art and process. The coffee is open to volunteers and anyone interested in exploring volunteering opportunities at the VAC. OCCA is looking for new volunteers for two or four hour shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons to welcome visitors to the Upstairs Gallery at the Newport Visual Arts Center and at other times to help with OCCA receptions, events, data entry and projects.
We are looking for a volunteer to help design and schedule a series of workshops for children and adults and volunteers who have experience with data entry and email address books. Do you have a skill that would help us celebrate, promote and develop community arts? For more information about the exhibits or volunteering, call Sally Houck, OCCA Director of the Visual Arts Center at 265-6569 or firstname.lastname@example.org via email.
