It’s Dutch Luv Time!
Valentine’s Day Treat Helps Fight Hunger
Newport (Feb.14, 2013) — Valentine’s Day is Dutch Luv Day, when Newport’s Dutch Bros. Coffee location will be offering a drink of your choice for a donation of 3 cans of non-perishable food. Tuna, cereal and peanut butter are most needed. Please, no expired food.
“We love this partnership with Dutch Bros., because they understand how important it is to help our neighbors.” says Nancy Smith of Food Share.
The annual Dutch Luv Day effort extends company-wide, taking place this year at all 195 locations in 94 cities in seven states. To find the Dutch Bros. Coffee location nearest you and hours of operation, visit www.dutchbros.com/locations
In 2012, Dutch Luv Day raised over 100,000 pounds of canned food. In Lincoln County, our amazing community raised 660 pounds last year for our friends and neighbors in need.
Dutch Bros. Coffee donates over $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes, in an effort to achieve its goal of “making a difference, one cup at a time.”
