Lincoln City Mayor Dick Anderson: Annual “State of the City” address Tuesday, Feb. 26, LC Cultural Center
As is traditional for Lincoln City Mayor Dick Anderson, he likes to start the year off with an address to the community to let Lincoln City residents know how the city is doing, what was accomplished last year, what’s contemplated for this year, and challenges facing the city in general.
The address is set for Tuesday, February 26th at 11:45am at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Please RSVP to the Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce at 541-994-3070 by February 22nd.
This time around Mayor Anderson is likely to touch on the overall general economy of Lincoln City, changes in the police department leadership, progress with annexing the Roads End area into the city, major water and sewer projects, tourism promotion, Highway 101 improvements through the Nelscott area, making the town more hiking and biking friendly and a long running analysis on how to best accommodate vacation rental dwellings. And that’s just for starters.
