Mo and Juanita McAdams have been found walking on a road near Mercola above Springfield – wandering for three days
Update – 3:37pm: Searchers have discovered Mo McAdams walking along a road, cold and what was described as “a bit out of it.” He was last reported to be on his way to the hospital in the back of an ambulance. Unconfirmed reports are that the vehicle left the road during an outing above Mercola.
Update – 12noon: Juanita McAdams has been found wandering along a road 20 miles northeast of Springfield in the mountains above Mercola. She’s been rushed to a hospital. The search continues for her husband.
Leslie (Mo) McAdams and his wife Juanita McAdams were last seen about 5pm Friday evening leaving their Springfield area residence bound for what could be any number of activities, none of which should have kept them away from home very long. All their diabetic medicines are still inside the house so they would not have traveled very far. However, the couple are known to visit Florence and areas north and south along the coast on a moment’s notice.
Mo is described as 5-11, 226 pounds, gray hair. Juanita is 5-3, 200 pounds and gray hair. They were last seen pulling out of their driveway in their white Dodge 2500 extended cab pickup. They are also believed to be hauling some shotgun skeet shooting equipment in the bed of the pickup. Anyone with information on the couple’s whereabouts should call the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4141, or any local law enforcement agency.
