Charter Cable Outage in Newport
Charter Cable has reported an outage in the Newport area. Charter says crews began working on it at 9:56pm. They did not give a location of the outage.
Overheard scanner chatter that the outage be from trees falling on Charter’s Fiber optic line that traverses Foulweather. Same thing happened last winter. Will check further.
