Alaska Senator wants more federal funds pledged to Japanese Tsunami debris clean up along the U.S. West Coast
An Alaskan U.S. Senator says he’s embarrassed that the Japanese government has offered five million dollars to help the U.S. clean up the debris from the March 2011 Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami, which is many times the amount pledged by the U.S. Government. And so he wants Uncle Sam to do a 3-to-1 match of $15,000,000 to reflect what’s is truly needed to cope with what is expected to be much more of the debris coming ashore this winter.
