It’s been a pattern lately that a number of Portland Police actions have gotten a lot of news media attention, especially those involving the homeless, the mentally ill or those in family crisis. Although police officers have almost always been found “not guilty” of inappropriate behavior by investigators, the number of cases and their consequences caught the attention of the U.S. Attorney. Her report has been delivered, and it does not paint a pretty picture.
