A good steady crowd worked its way through the first day of the Annual Labor Day Toledo Art Walk. From Michael Gibbon’s Vicarage to Ivan Kelly’s Studio, Becky Miller Studio to downtown galleries and the Fitzgibbons picturesque art filled barn on Ollala Road, there was plenty to feast the eyes on. Paintings, wood and metal sculpture, fabrics and pottery, an entire kaleidoscope of shapes, colors, textures all with the back drop of music as people strolled the streets of Toledo under bright sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70’s. Perfect as perfect can get.
The Toledo Art Walk continues Sunday AND MONDAY FROM 10AM through 5pm. And it’s free. Just head for Main Street and begin wandering. Gibbons, Miller and Kelly galleries are up one block in the Toledo Art District.
