From Newport Senior Activity Center
The Newport 60+ Activity Center is continuing their memory improvement classes each week Monday’s at 10:30 AM through the end of July.
The classes started on July 2nd with a lecture by Lisa Newman a speech therapist from Samaritan Health who specializes in memory problems. We’re following up the lecture with 3 additional classes led by Tony from Experience Works with assistance from Beth Madden, an intern from OSU. The classes will continue to be held in the education center at the Newport senior center. The sessions will focus on riddles, trivia, and other games aimed at improving your mental agility and memory.
