Newport area seniors who want more body strength, flexibility, range of motion, less body pain and improved posture, should check out Chris Gary’s newly adapted “Yo’ Play” approach to better physical fitness. After surveying the Senior Center’s other exercise programs she decided to use chairs in her own fitness routines which she says expands the benefits of the Yo’ Play approach.
Newport area seniors are invited to join Chris’s new summer sessions of Yo’ Play in the Newport Senior Center Wellness Studio, that began this week. Classes are offered Mondays and Thursdays at 10:45am. For more information call the Newport Senior Center at 541-265-9617.
