Oregon State Parks and fish and wildlife officials are urging all beachwalkers and beachcombers to be on the lookout for large pieces of Japanese Tsunami debris that will be arriving on Oregon Beaches over the next year or two. Especially docks, buoys, barges and boats. These large objects are more likely to be carrying dangerous invasive species that could get a toe-hold in Oregon’s marine ecology and cause all kinds of problems for native species.
