The 104th Lincoln County Fair celebrating Lincoln County’s finest is just around the corner beginning Friday, July 13, 14 and 15.

We invite homemakers, farmers, photographers, and crafts folks of all ages to submit their work for judging at the county fair. The tradition lives on with a category for every item this year, except live animals. Besides a ribbon award, top exhibitors will receive a gift certificate donated from a wide selection of county businesses. Entry forms and class information can be found in the Exhibitor Contest Guide on-line at www.townandcountryfair.com or your local library.
Lincoln County is our “Coastal Wonderland”, the theme of this year’s fair. We encourage folks to attend the fair, but seek the wonders of Lincoln County too. Exotic animals, interactive science, the carnival, sustainability displays, bull riding, equestrian drill team performance, Oregon Fairs Talent Search, Lincoln County Barrel Racing Championship, name the fair tractor contest, 4-Wheeler and motorcycle competitions, lawnmower races, and much more await your visit to the fair. The Lincoln County 4-H Program offers displays of artwork, photography, cooking and more in the Harney Building, and the Livestock Barn is full of 4-H raised animals. Daily admission is $5 for 6 and up, 6 and under is free. Parking is available for seniors and persons with disabilities at Newport High School.
Advance tickets for the carnival are being sold now at JC Markets in Newport and Toledo, Kenny’s IGA in Lincoln City and in Siletz. Tickets are $15, a $5 savings if purchased before fair. Ride bracelets will be $20 all day with the carnival opening at noon daily.
Lincoln County Fair is pleased to announce Mark Chesnutt, national country music artist, on the Main Stage Saturday at 7:30 PM. Mark Chesnutt is one of country’s true music treasures. Friday evening at 7:30PM, blues artist Curtis Salgado steps onto the Main Stage. Curtis Salgado is a Pacific Northwest favorite with a loyal following of dedicated listeners. Both concerts are free with paid general admission. The entertainment continues throughout the fair with Hanson Family Singers, Cascade Rye, Mariachi Viva Mexico, Lincoln County’s Got Talent Performance, Twisty and Friends, and more Don’t miss this weekend of fund for the whole family!
