Another floating piece of Japanese property washes up on a northwest beach
Yet another piece of Japanese property has washed ashore here in the Pacific Northwest. This time it’s a twenty foot fishing boat that appeared on the beach at Benson Beach, near Ilwaco, WA Saturday. Some folks on the beach watched it being washed around a nearby point of land, and then slowly pushed by the surf onto Benson Beach. It was covered with mussels and other sea life, along with equipment, including life jackets, that had Japanese writing on them. For the rest of the story we turn to the Oregonian. Click here.
