STATUS OF BIDS TO REMOVE DERELICT DOCK FROM AGATE BEACH
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department continues to review bids for removing the derelict dock from Agate Beach. A decision will likely be announced the week of June 18.
Six companies submitted bids. Two companies submitted bids both for dismantling the dock and removing it from the beach in pieces, two bid to tow the dock intact to Newport, and two submitted bids for both options. Details are below.
