Biologists hope they intercepted the rogue vagabonds aboard the Japanese dock before they could jump ashore and cause problems
Marine biologists who gave the Agate Beach Japanese tsunami dock a buzz job last week are hoping that whatever invasive species got away from their scrape-down, hopefully won’t find a mate and cause a problem for the local marine environment. The scientists believe they got “most of it” but only time will tell if any of the west Pacific critters make a homestead on the coast of Oregon.
