Photographer Brian O’Neal paid his chilly dues to get this time lapse shot of the Japanese dock at Agate Beach!
Photographer Brian O’Neal certainly raised the bar on the kind of image we get when we’re down there on Agate Beach with that 132 ton monster of a Japanese dock that floated here through thousands of miles of ocean. Brian said “It was really this shot of the star trails that I was after. With it’s 5,000 mile journey taking 16 months, I wanted to shoot something that related to the passage of time, and star trails do that for me.”
By the way, that’s the moon setting out there on the horizon.
Well Brian, I’m sure I speak for just about everybody for whom “the star trails do it for them” too. Brian has one of those spectacular Sony A77 high tech cameras and he obviously knows how to work it smart to bring a scene magically to life. Thank you Brian!!
