Come Join Us to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
The Cinco de Mayo holiday is celebrated nationwide and in some places in Mexico. It has become a time to honor Mexican culture and heritage.
We will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 5th from 2:30 – 6:30p.m.
Food/Drinks – Traditional Mexican food prepared and served by members of San Esteban/St. Stephens Episcopal Church and the IIRT- Birria, rice, beans, agua de orchata and Jamaica.
Price – Costs will be $7 for those 12 and older, $4 for ages 6 to 12 and under 6 are free.
Mexican and Latino heritage will be celebrated with food, music and art. This year a crafts table will be available for children and others who wish to make cards for Cinco de Mayo or for Mother’s Day. Materials and supervision will be provided.
The Oceana drummers will play at 5pm. They are from the Ocean Family Literacy Center in Lincoln City. There will also be a silent auction featuring items from local businesses as well as antiques, books and hand-made jewelry and other hand-crafted items.

Why – This is a fundraiser to help support the fundamental ministries of the congregation. St. Stephen/St. Esteban is a place that respects people of all faiths, race, nationalities and walks of life. We view hospitality as an important part of our ministry. We offer Stone Soup Suppers for the hungry every Monday night, support Food Share, provide God Talk open discussions, and host meetings including PFLAG, Peace and Justice Forums, and Immigration.
