NEWPORT LIONS CLUB AND NEWPORT EAGLES ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT
Our annual EASTER EGG HUNT will be held on Saturday April 7th at the Yaquina Bay State Park. The Newport Lions club will hide 200 pounds of jelly beans and Newport Eagles will hide the colored hard boiled eggs. Both Clubs will also have special prizes for those that find some hidden plastic eggs. There will be three separate areas ,organized by age. Ages 2 to 5 will be near the play ground. Ages 6 to 8 will be near the Fisherman’s Memorial Sanctuary. Ages 9-11 will be near the Yaquina Bay Light House.
The park is located in Newport at the north end of Yaquina Bay near its outlet to the Pacific Ocean and near the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Rain or Shine, we will start promptly at 9 am. Arrive shorty before the start time. Generally everything will have been found and collected within 15 min. Make sure you bring a basket or bag to collect the treasures.
