About as close as any human can get to a real live hummingbird – and of course it was Steve Power who managed to do it
Hummingbirds are arriving on the Oregon Coast expecting a diminishing Winter season and plenty of foodie opportunities. Instead, they’re suffering 65 mile an hour winds and unsteady feed trays outside many a Central Coast home. Photographer Steve Power caught this image of a hummer trying to come in for a landing on a food tray outside his front room window. A more spectacular image of a hummingbird you’ll never see.
