Samaritan House is located in Newport and serves all of Lincoln County, with emergency and transitional shelter for homeless families with children. A case manager, shelter supervisor, and maintenace coordinator complete the staff, with the assistance of volunteers. Families in residence receive counseling, educational programs and other services to help them move into independent living.
