Highway 22 about seven miles southeast of Hebo was closed about two hours Wednesday afternoon when a jackknifed commercial truck and unloaded flatbed trailer blocked both lanes of travel. No one was injured in the crash.
According to Oregon State Police, at approximately 9:45 a.m. a 1992 Freightliner truck driven by THOMAS E. CAWLEY, age 60, from Rockaway Beach, was traveling westbound on Highway 22 near milepost 7 when it lost control and jackknifed, blocking east and westbound lanes. Icy road conditions may have been a factor.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Nestucca Rural Fire Department and ODOT.
